Emery, we need to figure out why Talib Kweli calls this song "Definition." Maybe it can help us hack the art of composing defintions for our tech writing projects. -- ShareRiff
Surely this is far too simple an answer for you, but I think he's taking this song to DEFINE hip-hop and what it is today. Kweli is a so incredibly well-read and -studied and -versed that I'm sure it goes deeper, though. -- Emery
Emery- I'm the one who works over at HSN, but the cool part of it is that two days a week, I basically get paid to hang out in the green rooms with the hosts and guests. I have pics (not digital though) of me with Wolfgang Puck and Mr. T. And as far as sports people go, I've also met Carl Banks (ex-Cowboy and Giant) and Don Larson. It's not a bad gig. -- Emily
That's pretty dang cool. Despite the fact I've been around quite a few professional athletes over the years, I fully admit to having an intense fascination with celebrities and how they operate. I just like watching them maneuver through the world, because it's a different world they live in. -- Emery
