My name is Isaiah and I am going to tell you my story...

After swimming around in a dark space for quite some time now- I was ready to get out. Not quite sure how I was going to do it but I was ready. I didn’t know how long I have been in this place, but my body was growing and the room was getting a little too snug. Suddenly I felt a pressure, it was massive! I could see the light, my requests were being granted. It took quite some time before I was able to move. My body was being pushed inch by inch through a very narrow place, but I was excited I could feel the cool breeze as I emerged into the light.

One more push and I was out, it was quite painful but I knew I would be just fine. A few tears and screams bolted from me. Hands were everywhere; a man in a blue outfit came near me with a pair of scissors. What was he doing? A simple snip near my stomach and a sweet little lady in white reached for me with a small cloth. I was covered in a substance slight sticky and they were cleaning me up. They released me into this nice woman’s arms, she cradled my little body as I sat in her arms. Boy was I tired, it had been a long day and I was ready for a nap!

Opening my eyes I was a little frightened. I had been in a dark spot for a long time and my surroundings were unfamiliar. The door opened and I quickly became fixated on two people standing above me. A feeling of comfort and security overwhelmed me. Were they going to take me home? The smiles on their face were from ear to ear and I knew at that moment that they would love me unconditionally in this new world I was living in.
